Coconut Grove

Just wrapped up a 2-night stay at Coconut Grove in Goa, and oh boy, it was a delightful experience! This place is a haven for anyone looking to unwind in a lush, green space. Our rooms were super comfy with ample space to stretch out, and the cherry on top? An outdoor sitting area to soak in those serene vibes. What's great is that the beach is just a stone's throw away (literally 100 meters), making our beach trips a breeze, especially with the kiddos in tow. Speaking of kids, they couldn’t get enough of the garden area – it’s a real paradise for the little ones. The complimentary breakfast was decent, nothing to write home about, but it did the trick. What really stood out was the prompt room service and housekeeping - these guys are on their toes! And hey, if you're up for a bit of masti, they've opened a new disco pub right inside the resort. Didn't get a chance to check it out this time, but it sure looked inviting. All in all, if you're scouting for a peaceful retreat with the family or just to chill, Coconut Grove is a solid pick. Will be back for sure!

Overall rating is 1. However , restaurant service , breakfast service was very bad. Menus were good for 1 out of 3 days. I want to give below 1 rating. I'm disappointed to choose this resort. Staff is soft spoken. Room cleaning was nice. But bathroom needed maintenance.. Hot water mixing wasn't working and With kids it's really difficult to stay like that. There was lizard in room on day 1. There was water leakage in bathroom. Swimming pool was good. I would have loved to stay here, if these issues were not there.

If there was a rating below 1, I would have given that for this place. The pillows ( inside the cover which were easily visible) were stained and dirty with brown patches, the bedsheets were nothing close to white, there was leakage in the bathroom and the bathtub was old with stains. It is a run down place with no proper facilities for senior citizens. We could barely spend 1 night and had to shift out to another hotel losing 80k in the bargain. My sincere advice to people is that do not get fooled by the pictures put by the hotel and look for a better place to stay and enjoy your vacation.

We spent a night at this place, and I must say, the beach is quite secluded. Accessing it involves a somewhat unusual path through the trees, making nighttime visits impractical, especially if you seek a beach resort experience. Renting a bike is challenging due to the reception's unhelpful reference, so it's advisable to avoid their recommendations. Additionally, the hotel's rooms and food are average.

I stayed at Coconut Grove Beach Resort last month and my experience was beyond frustrating. We had booked 4 rooms through Agoda 5 months in advance but there were way too many problems that we faced here: 1. Firstly, the rooms were dingy and smelly. The bathrooms were leaking all over. In fact, we had to wait for 2-3 hours in the rooms just to let their plumbing staff do the repairs! However, problems still persisted and we had to call the plumber again on subsequent days of our stay. 2. Secondly, at the time of booking, their website showed complimentary breakfast whereas when we reached they denied to provide the same stating our package does not include complimentary breakfast. Despite raising concern with Agoda and hotel staff immediately, nothing was done. The website was changed at the backend to stop showing the complimentary breakfast option. Mind you, google research for this resort still shows free breakfast as one of the facilities. 3. The breakfast options on payment weren't too many and the staff was not sure how to handle all the orders that were being placed. They were running helter skelter to get cutlery, food, etc. 4. The worst part after the frustrating experience was the fact that at the time of checkout the invoice provided was for almost half the price paid by us at the time of booking. When questioned about the discrepancy, they had no justifiable answer. I will not recommend this place to anyone!
